After leaving school I attended Cleveland College of Art & Design (now known as The Northern School of Art) where I completed a BTEC National Diploma in General Art & Design, specialising in Textiles in my 2nd year. I then went on to do a BA(Hons) Degree at Chelsea School of Art, specialising in printed Textiles.

Personal Statement
I draw on the industrial shoreline and rugged landscape of the North East in my textile paintings.
I aim to reveal the beauty in the collision between the natural and manufactured environment. The seductive, tactile, jewel-like colours and surfaces are intended to conjure the vitality, atmosphere and a sense of a place.

My studio is now in my garden. This is where I prepare my work under the supervision of my three Miniature Schnauzers, Frida, Maggie & Dotty. Work is submitted to galleries such as The Biscuit Factory, Number Four Gallery, RHS Harlow Carr Bath House, Just Makers to name a few, whilst also building a supply for events such as Art in the Pen, Yarndale, Whitby Art Fair, Staithes, Designer Makers Markets and the Website shop.
